Registration is even easier this year! CHSSA has moved school registration into one streamlined online process. The new form will guide you through your school information, Coach of Record, league-specific requirements and membership dues. Administrator authorization is now completely digital. No more printing, signing, scanning or uploading forms. After you submit, your principal or head of school will automatically receive an email with a secure link to authorize your school's membership and Coach of Record. You'll be notified by email once they complete their authorization.
Check Your 2026–2027 Rollover Status
Before you begin: Know your school's CHSSA League and have your principal or head of school's contact information available. If your school owes the $150 membership fee, you'll need a credit or debit card. You can save your registration and return to it at any time by clicking the "SAVE" button on the bottom right of the form.
Need a dues waiver? Schools with demonstrated financial need may apply through October 31. If you plan to apply, submit your waiver request before completing registration. Apply with the big gold button below labeled "Apply for a 2026–2027 CHSSA Dues Waiver."

CHSSA believes every student should have the opportunity to participate in speech and debate regardless of their school’s financial resources. Schools with demonstrated financial need may apply for a waiver of the $150 annual CHSSA membership fee.
Dues waiver requests for the 2026–2027 school year must be submitted by October 31, 2026.
If your school plans to request a dues waiver, please submit the waiver application and wait for a decision before completing CHSSA registration. Approved schools will receive instructions for completing registration without payment.
